Corel WordPerfect was the dominant word processing software in the 1980s and while Microsoft Word has taken over that mantle, there are still many loyal WordPerfect users today.
Corel introduced its Office suite in 1993 and this product bundles the popular applications: WordPerfect, and the spreadsheet program Quattro Pro. MyChoice Software has WordPerfect X7 Office Standard available in retail box form and as a license that can quickly be delivered electronically.
In addition to WordPerfect and Quattro, this standard version also includes SharePoint integration and has Roxio DVD burning software. WordPerfect X7 gives users the ability to save files in multiple formats, including WordPerfect, Word, PDF and HTML 5, simultaneously and users can save automatically numbered versions of a document, allowing them to easily restore an older version of the document. The popular reveal-codes feature remains in WordPerfect X7, allowing users to see where formatting features begin and end in the document.
While Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office are more widely-used than WordPerfect, this software remains very popular, and in some cases, the preferred word processing system for publishing. WordPerfect allows users to combine left-aligned, centered and right-aligned text on a single line and this software has a parallel-column feature that does not require extensive table formatting. In addition, self-publishers can easily send their documents from WordPerfect to ePub ebook and MOBI formats. This X7 version of WordPerfect is compatible with all earlier versions and has improved macro and mail merge features for ease of use in business settings.
Corel WordPerfect Office X7 can be used on computers that have the Windows XP 32-bit Edition operating system with the latest service packs installed, Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1.
