Analyse your Data
Recommended Pivot Table and Flash Fill are two features that will revolutionize the way you process and filter data. Use the pivot table options to summarize your data in different ways with different goals in mind. With Flash Fill you can rely on Excel to learn your habits and patterns and use that information to auto-complete the rest of the data set without the need for macros and formulas.
Visualize your Data
When arranging and organizing your data, explore Excels data illustration features that will recommend certain types of charts and graphs to showcase the patterns in your data in the best possible configuration. You can preview suggestions before selecting the ones that work.
Customize your Data
No two data sets are alike. Microsoft Excel 2013 gives you the power to customize your charts, graphs, and sheets to reflect the specific nature of your data. Choose the layout, titles and design elements from the interactive interface.
Share your Data
The workbooks you create can be shared easily with others through multiple avenues. Sharing is made easy and quick with SkyDrive and SharePoint. Send out a link to your file with adjustable editing and viewing permissions. You can also post your spreadsheets online by embedding them to your social media pages. Finally, share entire workbooks and collaborate in real-time with others using the Lync conversation system. Others will be able to make edits and take control of your workbook as you watch over them from wherever they are.
Microsoft Excel 2013 provides you with an intuitive and dynamic system that helps you to visualize and analyze your data. You are able to bring new insights to light and make the most of your important information, whether you are tallying your expenses in a spreadsheet or tracking gains in revenue. Workbooks are now easier to share than ever, giving you the flexibility to cooperate with others on projects and access your workbooks from anywhere.

I love Microsoft Excel 2013 Retail. Once you get it, you'll never go back and you'll never regret it. It's like flying first class for the first time, but you feel that way every time you open it. It will make up for all those hateful feelings you have about those pesky, inconvenient, spontaneous Windows updates. If you don't have Excel 2013, then you simply have not had enough abuse yet to convince you to take the plunge and go to my choice software, #1 seller of microsoft stuff!
I am taking a course based on the 2013 version of Excel, and this was the only place I could find it. The people giving one star reviews are completely over-reacting, and are lashing out at Microsoft for making new versions so often. Microsoft IS NOT the distributor here, it is a third party seller. Giving one star reviews isn't helping your case. Anyway, if you're looking for the Microsoft Excel 2013 Retaill, this is perfect. My Choice Software really made my day and imporvoed quality of my life. The price was a bit higher, but that's microsoft.
I already had Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 installed on my system but was asked to help with our co-op's yearly budget and I wasn't sure if that was legal to use or not. So to be on the safe side I purchased this copy of Microsoft Excel 2013 Retail on My Choice Software for a really good price and didn't need to spend a few hundred on the entire commercial office suite when I really only needed the commercial version of Excel. I also ordered training videos for this at the same time so figuring it out has been easier than I anticipated. There is also plenty of online help available on how to use this program if needed. For something like a budget or keeping track of monthly payments and expenses, a spreadsheet program is all you really need. And even though you can get away with using a free spreadsheet program in one of the many free office suites available online, I think purchasing just the spreadsheet (Excel 2013) for about a hundred bucks and being able to open existing spreadsheets created by other commercial versions of Excel, say the ones that accountants create, is a great benefit. Then being able to save the figures and return the files which can easily be opened and read by the accountant on their Excel and knowing it will be compatible was worth the money in my opinion.
