Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Enterprise 2 Core Downgrade works as advertised. Easy to manage. Pretty solid GUI. We've been running a SQL DB for around 8 years with minimal maintenance and headache. We do the SQL Server updates when needed, but rarely have to touch it otherwise. In the rare instance that there is an issue, they can be difficult to solve without getting Microsoft or MyChoiceSoftware Support on the phone. For a beginner it can get confusing, it takes a while to really get a good handle on it and be able to really use it to its maximum potential.
