Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Enterprise 2 Cores
SQL Server 2014 delivers mission critical performance across all workloads with in-memory built-in, faster insights from any data with familiar tools, and a platform for hybrid cloud enabling organizations to easily build, deploy, and manage solutions that span on-premises and cloud.
The choice is clear
As en ecommerce website best known for its low prices, My Choice Software offers Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2014 at a significant discount.
Combine that with the live support and advice we provide with limited to no-wait time from our California offices, and the choice is clear.
Easier to build high-performance applications
Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2014 with a two core license saves you and your organization money while making it easier to build high-performance applications, big data assets and business intelligence solutions that let your employees work faster and smarter.
Managed through a common, familiar tool set
Offering flexibility for deployment on the premises, in the cloud or in a hybrid environment, this product can be managed through a common, familiar tool set, meaning no added expenses for additional purchases or labor.
10 to 30 times transaction performance gains
Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2014 boosts reliable, mission-critical applications with a new in-memory OLTP engine that can provide 10 to 30 times transaction performance gains.
100 times faster
For data warehousing, the new updatable in-memory columnstore can query 100 times faster than legacy solutions, all while providing an extremely secure database.
Faster insights on any data
Get to insights faster with a complete BI platform that speeds up how you access, analyze, clean and shape both internal and external data. With SQL Server 2014 and Power BI for Office 365, it is easy to connect every user in an organization to the right data they need to make better decisions, faster.
SQL Server 2014 accelerates reliable, mission critical applications with a new in-memory OLTP engine that can deliver on average 10x, and up to 30x transactional performance gains. For Data Warehousing, the new updatable in-memory columnstore can query 100x faster than legacy solutions. SQL Server also delivers peace of mind as the most secure database five years in a row. (National Institute of Standards and Technology Comprehensive Vulnerability Database 4/17/2013, Market share from IDC 2013)
Platform for hybrid cloud
SQL Server 2014 was designed to work in a hybrid environment that spans on-premises and the cloud and has new tools that make it even easier to build back-up and disaster recovery solutions with Microsoft Azure. These tools provide an easy on-ramp to the cloud for on-premises SQL Server databases, enabling customers to use their existing skills to take advantage of Microsofts global datacenters.
Scale and transform your business with, on average, a 10x performance gain for transaction processing while still using existing hardware, and a greater-than 100x performance gain for data warehousing.
Enterprise scalability across compute, networking, and storage
With Windows Server, physical processing now scales up to 640 logical processors, and virtual machines scale up to 64 logical processors. SQL Server 2014 uses this scale, storage spaces and network virtualization to maximize overall infrastructure utilization.
Breakthrough, in-memory performance
With SQL Server 2014, new in-memory capabilities for transaction processing and enhancements for data warehousing complement our existing technologies for data warehousing and analytics. Scale and transform your business with, on average, a 10x performance gain for transaction processing while still using existing hardware, and a greater-than 100x performance gain for data warehousing.
Proven, predictable performance
SQL Server consistently leads in TPC-E, TPC-H and real-world application performance benchmarks. SQL Server is SAP-certified to run some of the most demanding workloads. Get more predictable performance of virtualized SQL Server instances with IO governance in Resource Governor.
SQL Server 2014 Licensing Models
SQL Server 2014 offers customers a variety of licensing options aligned with how customers typically purchase specific workloads. There are two main licensing models that apply to SQL Server:
Server + CAL
Provides the option to license users and/or devices, with low cost access to incremental SQL Server deployments.
Gives customers a more precise measure of computing power and a more consistent licensing metric, regardless of whether solutions are deployed on physical servers on-premises, or in virtual or cloud.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
Be the first to ask a question about this.
We use Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise 2014 2 Cores as database for our product. Its used for storing all configuration data and activity data. Its also used for storing user sensitive data like passpords, pins, phone no. email address etc. SQL server consume lots of memory and needs a high performing multi-core machine especially if the database size is big. Inefficient SQL queries can impact the performance of SQL. Unnecessary locks on SQL operations can also impact its performance. If your DB size grow (>20GB) then its performance is not up to the mark. MS SQL is not a good choice if you DB size is huge (like in tera bytes).
I've been using Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise 2014 2 Coreswith SQL Server reporting services(SSRS) and also I've been performing data analysis with SQL. And I've found out that segregation of data for analysis is done really well using the SQL concepts. This is really required when working with SSRS to obtain only the required data for reporting. I would also recommend using Aspose Total for Reporting Services (SSRS) for more added functionality if at all required.
We use Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise 2014 2 Cores on everything from our most business critical applications to small staging databases. It operates as or data warehouse, reporting solution, and all-around go-to affordable database server. It's a wonderful product that can be properly attuned to many needs. The simplicity of the language makes it easier to understand and implement statements like joins or procedures in high-level programming language. Hence, it appeals more to beginners as well.
