We have been running a trail version since it was available. We actually liked it so much we implemented it on 2 production servers within the first month of it being out and have plans to migrate several others in the near future including replacing our 2012 Hyper-V hosts. Love the way updates run now also. I really like the improvements made in virtualization and container support. It is a bit sad, that the app/store/edge is not included in Microsoft Windows Server 2011 Small Business Server Essentials due to the LTSB regulation. The chances for using Nano Server in certain fields is great. It still has a ram consuming problem, but i believe it's better than the new versions.
I like all the additional 'guard' features getting added. Sometimes it can be pretty challenging to wrap your mind around everything that has to be checked and updated to keep your systems secure. The more Microsoft can build-in and add new features like these, the better off you'll be! So far I am enjoying Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard 64-bits. Been using it since TP4 and am looking to roll it out to production this quarter. Seems to have addressed many of 2012's issues and incorporates new tech at the same time.
Definitely have been enjoying my experiences with Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard 64-bit thus far. It certainly made notable improvements to existing tech and added some new gems. Probably still a few months out from deploying to production environments, and waiting on a few more dependencies to be cleared up, but in general I have been very happy with the product and the teams efforts at improving it.
